Fall quarter, we explored chemistry, calculus-based physics, and  scientific methods in the context of questions such as:  What causes global warming and the ozone hole?  What can we do about it?  What is the role of the Sun?  How can we analyze these processes with energy transformations?

Winter quarter we applied differential and integral calculus to electromagnetism, learn chemical kinetics and thermodynamics, and read about scientific method and reason.

Spring quarter we will investigate quantum physics and chemistry.
