The Renewable Energy Atlas website features downloadable maps of renewable energy resources in the Western United States. The Atlas was created by several organizations: Land and Water Fund of the Rockies, Northwest Sustainable Energy for Economic Development (SEED), Green Info Network and Integral GIS, with sponsorship by the Hewlett Foundation. For each state there is information on a successful renewable energy project and information about the resources available in each state of geothermal, solar, wind, or biomass energy. AW
