Music Workshop
Overall themes:
- To learn how to speak about music.
- To learn how to listen to music with care for detail.
- To compose 3 pieces that incorporate various ``techniques'' or ``styles''.
Weekly activities:
- Ear-training, sight-singing, and dictation (some harmony and theory)
- Listening assignments, combined with writing.
- Reading assignments, and in-class discussion.
- Three composition projects.
