Carefully
review the posted papers of your peers for your seminar.
Discuss
the seminar materials and the posted papers with your co-leader before
seminar.
Decide
with your co-leader which questions you will pose to the class. You
are free to design your own questions or use questions which have been
suggested in the posted papers.
Give the class a 10-minute presentation of the day’s reading materials.
Summarize the main arguments, the key points raised in the papers, and
tell us which questions you would like us to discuss. You are also free
to bring in additional materials or information you believe is relevant
to the seminar.
Take
an active role in guiding the seminar. Help to facilitate discussion,
draw out your peers, and keep us focused.
You are
welcome to break the class up into smaller groups for discussion or
do whatever you feel would most benefit the class’s learning.
The focus, however, must be on the texts.
