Environment, Health and Community

This year long group contract will explore the complex, changing and sometimes elusive links between the environment, public health and the community. We will study scientific/clinical developments, public policy, industrial conditions, legal strategy, political participation and community life. Our attention will center on how environmental health is shaped and experienced at the community level, but we will be developing our analysis in view of regional, national and international conditions. As a class, our interests range across such topics as the health of local food systems, environmental health and children, workplace health or fisheries and human health.

New Syllabus
The draft Winter Quarter syllabus is available on the syllabus page. If you need the Fall syllabus, click here.

New site layout
It should work better this way, it's hosted on the school machine, and it meets the W3C tech guidelines for usability in IE4+ and NS4+.

Book List Update
Winter Quarter booklist updated on the Book List page

Link List
Let's try to rebuild the links we had before someone deleted it. There's a new link index page, sans delete function, so we should be able to compile quite a list.
