The Gimp is a program to manipulate images. It is capable of being used both to modify existing photos and images as well as be used to compose new images. The Gimp is installed on the computer in the CAL and Evergreen and is free to download and install on your own computer as well. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
Below are some resources with tutorials and information about how to use The Gimp. Although the Gimp is a powerful program, for our purposes the main things we will likely need it for are for resizing, cropping (trimming off unwanted parts of the image), and possibly some color enhancement. See the tutorials for instructions.
