Chemistry for the Health Professions

16 credits (all lower level)

In this program we will explore topics in organic and biochemistry with a focus on medical applications and examples. Additional topics that we will address include the history of medicine, bibliographic library research, and writing. We will also spend some time discussing the process of "getting in" to a professional school in the health field.

This program is designed for students who are contemplating careers in the health professions and have not yet taken Molecule to Organism.
