We will discuss the developmental theories Piaget, Freud (and secondarily Erikson) and Bruner (the Wine Decanter theory of learning from an earlier workshop - it's on the program web site) in light of what Miller calls the main issues of developmental theories (pp. 14-21):

        Organismic
        Contextual
2. Qualitative vs. Quantitative Change
3. Nature vs. Nurture
4. What Develops?

We will also discuss possible connections between the three developmental theories and:
