1. Consider the study in and of itself: Does the author draw conclusions that are congruent with goal, sample, design and actual findings of study? Is there anything about the study that makes you hesitant to readily accept the authors' conclusions?
2. Identify the relevance of the study your master’s project: How might the findings/conclusions inform your master's question? To what degree do you feel confident in drawing such an inference? What about the study (sample, design, operational definitions, etc) contributes to your level of confidence?

USEFUL INFORMATION FOR INTRODUCTION & HISTORY of your question

RATIONALE: Why does this researcher consider your question an important one? What if any controversial issues/debates around your question does the researcher draw your attention to?

HISTORICAL CONTEXT: What does this researcher say that helps you to understand the historical context around your question.
