  • Kontakt Sampling Exercise 2:
    Create at least 2 Kontakt instruments. Experiment with envelopes, filters, etc. (see class handout). Write a 1 min section of music using these instruments in DP. Output as stereo .aiff file and put in class assignments folder on Calawah.

  • Analog Synth sampling exercise:
    Create at least 2 Kontakt instruments using either the Arp2600 or the Buchla Music Easel. Record a 1 min section of music using MIDI and these instruments. A 3rd non-analog synth instrument may also be used. Keep project in DP and be prepared to present to the class.
