last quarter i did a contract monitoring salmon and making artwork about them.
it's showing at the seminar II cafe during february, i invite you to take a look...
i don't really like putting pictures of me on the internet, for some reason it feels like a violation of my personal self
. i'd rather put my artwork as it a form of my personal expression

i'm watching the seasons change from out in summit lake; kennedy creek is rising and falling with the intensity of the rains. i feel so connected with the nature out there. it is a real dichotomy since there is a lot of logging going on around me, yet the ties to nature are so much closer than in the city.

in addition to this class, i'm taking grantwriting, as well as doing a 4-credit contract making my own pigments, focusing on using local and natural materials. i'm wanting to bring my artwork into the elements, and the elements into my art
