The need to archive everyday life, or memory is an interesting development in installation art.  One piece that particularly stood out was on page 143.  It was created by Liza Lou and is titled Trailer.  She beaded an entire living room setting. It is simply amazing and I could not imagine doing that myself.  The other portion of this section that intrigued me was the idea of the audience.  I have always thought of installation art as being physically engaging but a new turn is happening.  I'm very interested in this idea of involving audiences mentally, trapping them in a decision process.  I would like to know how everyone else felt about this idea.  How do you think this could affect your own installation ideas and processes?  Is it something you consider when planning your next piece?
