1:1 Critique Sign Up sheets for the entire quarter are posted in the dedicated studio space (e 4107) inside the door, to the right, near Keegan's studio. Please sign up for times during your assigned weeks only (to determine your weeks, see the last page of the syllabus)

Mon. 1-3 p.m. in woodshop: Stretcher-Building Workshop
with Jim Blevins

Tues. 1 - 3 p.m. in our dedicated studio (E4107) Gold Leaf workshop with Joe Tougas: Bring the following items if you want to try gold leafing yourself:
(1) a smooth surfaced and gessoed canvas, panel or small sculpture you want to apply leaf to (keep the surface area to about 4 x 8 inches)
(2) a brush to apply sizing (that can be washed out with turpentine)
(3) soft sable brushes of varying sizes for handling the leaf

ETCHING UPDATE: Facilities staff will be working on the etching tank in the printmaking studio on Mon. Jan. 29 - Tues. Jan. 30. The etching bath will not be functional until about Weds. Feb. 1. Plan accordingly. Sorry for the inconvenience!
