Healing Gardens

Greetings!

My name is Ashley Stratton, I am nineteen years old and I am originally from the Northwest. I grew up in the Tacoma/ Puyallup area and I recently moved to the Evergreen Campus. I am enrolled in the Healing Gardens program and I am very excited about this class. I am interested in human health and medicine as well as gardening, small scale farming, and land restoration. Hobbies of mine include taking walks with my dog to soak in and appreciate all the life around me. At the Longhouse Ethnobotanical Garden I am going to be creating and gardening in the section that represents the Camas Prairie land. I have been a vegetarian since age twelve and I love all kinds of animals. I am excited to be a sophomore here at Evergreen.
