Healing Gardens

At first I thought this might be evergreen huckleberry, but there was another plant at the sayuyay garden today that could have been it, but I can't remember the name right now (information overload, sorry). Does anyone know? It grew like a bush but was cut into a shape (part of landscaping) so I don't know how big it would be naturally or what shape. The berries in the picture are about half 3/4 of an inch long. The colors are slightly off because I had my camera on a weird setting.
