My name is Anastarr Ricketts, and I come from a small little village located high up in the Rocky Mountains called Telluride Colorado. My mom and I moved there from Scottsdale Arizona when I was about 7 years old. My family moved around a lot after being born in Claremont California. They took me along, traveling to far away places such as Italy and Peru. As I grew older, my family and I traveled to countries such as India, Greece, China, etc. I have seen the many different diverse cultures interact with one another and their surroundings. I have been quite fortunate for the exposure I have gained in these past 20 years!
My childhood home is planted deep in the forest, friends with Mother Nature. Ever since I was a little child, I have wandered into her home to either play with her many trees, flowing water, soil, etc., or to simply just have a conversation with her. She could listen to me when others would only hear me. Her advice: To just be/stay alert and aware by simply living every second to the fullest in the present moment. She continues to show me stillness and teaches me of her knowledge of peace and unconditional love for all, and that we are all one. If Mother Nature is able to resonate this power of knowledge, I am curious to know about her many natural ‘healers’ and their characteristics.
The part that pulled me into this class was the word healing. I am very attracted to any knowledge of natural healing I can engage with. My passion is meeting new people and offering them knowledge and understanding from a higher level of consciousness by helping and giving to them any wisdom I gain on the subject of healing. My desire is to learn as much about the healing qualities of my surrounding natural world and how each living piece of earth can be beneficial to a human being.
I am excited to dedicate my time and attention our beautiful Mother Earth and her children.
