Mixed Forest A:Place to Meet the Trees.
Mixed Forest A is divided by a horseshoe shaped path that runs throughout it. Much of the native vegetation is inside of the horseshoe. There are ferns strewn about this section because of all the shade that it is given by the trees above. Further toward the longhouse there are quite a few different native groundcovers. Also when heading this way, there is a small group of Salmonberry trees. Outside of the horseshoe heading away from the longhouse there are quite a few native groundcovers that are seeming to take off successfully. There are evergreen trees tossed about the area, and there are a couple magnificent maples that grace this space with their glow.
