wax corpse snake berry

The remnant white berries last all through the winter, despite rain and snows. Their berries are considered inedible or poisonous. Their opposite branching pattern is an easy giveaway. Pertaining to this site, these plants would live on the edge of a prairie as it transitioned into forest, or would be found in the oak woodland.
