We also found and identified a red currant. It had been buried under a large maple branch that had fallen on it.

So Dana asked me to come help them. Learning: The girls really don't want to plan the bridge idea. I think I found the skunk cabbage beginning to peak out.

Date: 3/2/07 Time Spent: 3 hours Activity: I drove to Stevens Pass with my sister. While we up there I identified as many plants and trees as I could. Learning: I was amazed at how many trees I could actually identify! Also, you can actually notice the change in the types of trees at higher elevation. The base of Steven's Pass is 1500 feet.
