The past year, however, I have spent my time traveling and becoming a Washington resident. This has prevented me from going to school full time but I have learned a lot from traveling and working as a teacher in a day care. My interest in linguistics started when I was a Freshman here at Evergreen, when I took a program that incorporated some linguistics.
