Silk Roads: China, The Middle East, and The New World

I think what I love best about this photo is the father's adoration of his beautiful daughter. I took this photo in Kerala near Kottayam (the lowland backwaters) in a small village, and he was so proud to show off his daughter, carrying her on his shoulders like a giant elephant.
