The Ring- Kelsey Sheets

After some very careful NOT paying attention, I realized I hadn't properly loaded my ring story. It may have had something to do with the fact that I typed it on a Turkish keyboard/computer. I hope it's not too late?

"Let me tell you a story..."

"There once was a young couple just married. The husband says tto the wife, lets go to the gold store. I wish to buy you something to show my love. They arrive and tells the woman to choose any ring she likes. Price does not matter. Finally she chooses and they go home. The wife decides to put the ring away for special occasions for it is too beautiful for everyday. Life goes on until one day they find out that the wife is ill, just four short months later she dies. In his grief the husband flips through old photo albums, in this search he comes across the ring. At that moment he realizes what is a special occasion? A birthday? The birth of a child? An anniversary? NO! Everyday that we are alive and well should be special!"

"And so you see this is how I live my life. My life could be shit! No job, no money. But I have my apartment, I have my car. Things are not so bad. I take everyday as a special occasion!"

Story as told by an anonymous Jordanian male one night over chicken sandwhiches, hummus and the promise of a song...
