Go over syllabus, covenant, and ground rules; warm up; distribute sheet music; Read & sing through music. Begin writing and collecting complaints.

January 15th

Take mug shot photos; distribute CDs, create section rosters; warm up;

finish reading & singing score; learn Behold, Windham, Traveler, and start on So You Want to Write a Fugue

8-8:45 p.m.  after class: volunteer lyricists meeting

January 22nd

Guest teacher Valerie Rogers helps us learn Jo We (and another South African song TBA)

January 29th

Warm up; review previous material and continue learning So You Want to Write a Fugue

5

February 5th

Warm up; learn A Mighty Fortress, Fair Phyllis, and Nero’s Expedition

Complaints lyrics completed and distributed

February 12th

Warm up;  learn Volaras and whatever else remains

8-8:30 after class: Solos and small ensembles present their work so far

February 19th

Warm up; work whatever needs it the most

February 26th

Warm up; possible sectional rehearsals; review all music

March 5th

Rehearse in COM 110 on risers

 

Saturday

March 7th

4-7 p.m. Final dress rehearsal in Recital Hall with all production elements.

 

Sunday

March 8th

Recital: arrive  at 6 p.m., performance at 7

10

March 12th

Recording date! Perform and record our winter repertoire for posterity.
