You should also budget for expenditures that are not included in the numbers above. For each student, these expenditures will be different, but may include (while not limited by) the following:

 

• Gear (see program gear list for an idea of what you will need)
• Food money for field trips and shore leave (although ALL food is provided for the expedition, sometimes students like to eat ashore when appropriate).
• Other small museum fees than those listed above
• Souvenir shopping
