Asa Hurst

I wrote The Forest of Consciousness while looking at the forest out the windows of a cabin, during a brief rainstorm. I mainly wrote it to capture my mood, as well as the impressions it left on my view outside the windows. The Shop Window has been a poetic thought that bounced around inside my head for several years.

Asa Hurst grew up in the mountains of southern California, and now lives as a student at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. When not studying, he enjoys free time computer gaming, enjoying the Washington rain forest, hacking his Linux box, and reading Star Wars novels.
