Melissa grew up in the small town of Scappoose, Oregon right outside of Portland and has traveled, hiked and camped all over the Pacific Northwest over the years. Right now, her focus is on environmental studies and is looking to pursue a career as a park ranger. In the future, her main desire is to experience all things within the natural world and to travel worldwide, but in the end, her heart will always remain in Cascadia.
