miscelaneous stuff from Neil

Here are a few things I think are interesting and related to class:
About classrooms, taking risks, learning, and being involved.  First read about "liminality".  Then read about the "liminal classroom".

In lecture Tues morn, we talked about high art prices.  Here's a blurb about a show that I saw in Seattle that deals with what it is to be an artist in the dance capital of the world.  I referenced this in Andy Buchman's lecture: It was one of Jasperse's dancers that has been robbed three times in the last year.  There was also a statistic in his show about one of his dancers spending less than $3000 on food last year, and over $7000 for related bodywork.
