Today everyone I will introduce myself as Angela Kubalek, born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. Yes I love me some sweet corn. Since moving out to Washington one of the highlights and most consistent ventures that I 've been involved with is commercial salmon fishing in the historical and sustainable manner of reefnetting with the Lummi Island Wild Co-Op. This was an ancient fishery practiced by the Lummi Natives centuries ago. I love spending time in and learning about the forests, deserts, mountains, prairies, anywhere outside.
Skills to offer the class: Proficient in Statistics and SPSS(with enough time for methodiaclly analyzing results), Photography(hooby level), Sewing, Welding, Basic Carpentry, Catching BIG Fish.
Conservation Issues of Interest: Salmon health and everything that relates to that(ie habitat, water quality, forestry practices, property owner practices, dam removal), Forest health east of the Cascades(ie logging, herbicide use, fire suppression, endangered species protection), Conservation Biology.
Help I'd like from others: I would love to become more proficient with my computers' design programs, someday start myself a simple web-page, media arts(ie using my super8mm camera).
Hobbies: if you wanna hang out I spend time(wisely); wildcrafting &canning, snowsporting, boating, walking in woods/beaches, watching movies and eating popcorn in dark theaters, playing knock-out, climbing really tall trees.
