Second Activities

Sorry I thought that I had already posted these

The third activity I picked was “A Beautiful Day.” This one was a little more of a challenge for me because I feel that everyday I wake-up, I have a beautiful day. So I had to put it on paper to test this theory. First when I wake up, I would have breakfast and read the paper. I chose this because it would relax me before I got started. Then I would shower and dress and start my day.

Next I would go out job hunting for a part-time job in the helping feel to fill a monetary void and to give me something to do away from home. I would stop at a coffee shop and have some coffee and go online to check my mail and work on my homework. Then go visit my friends and family. Then go home and have dinner. Do some more reading and watch television and go to bed. I was not successful on my beautiful day because things sometime come up that you can’t foresee. I did find that the qualities of my beautiful day were truly beautiful. I would not change my perception of a beautiful day. To move toward achieving a beautiful day on a regular basis, I would plan my day and leave room for flexibility

The last activity that I chose was “The Gratitude Letter and Visit this was something I was quite familiar with because of my involvement with AA, I had to do this in my step work. I talk to a young lady that was involved in me continuing my educational journey. I wrote her a letter of appreciation for giving me back the ability to believe in myself. After reading her the letter I gave it to her. The visit turned out really good for me and her. I let her no what her help meant to me.
