Summer Program

The City of Hoquiam Community Services Department in cooperation with the AmeriCorps Team, works to provide a safe place for your children during the summer where they can participate in supervised activities, play in the wading pool, and receive a free healthy lunch through the summer lunch program in partnership with the Hoquiam School District.

 WHERE: Art Pocklington Central Play Field, corner of Lincoln and Emerson
 WHEN: Monday - Friday June 23 through August 20th, 2010
 EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
 --11:00-2:30 supervised activities daily
 --12:00 Noon wading pool on WARM days
 --Challenger British Soccer Camps, age 3-11, cost $40 includes 1 week soccer, 1 week basketball camp
 --Watermelon Olympics
 --Art in the Park scheduled throughout program
 --Visits from the Police and Fire Departments teaching children basic safety
