Editorial from a Huffington Post contributor on the need for a US constitutional amendment that "explicitly prohibits the government from ever shutting down the Internet."

Further investigation reveals that such an amendment may come to be. The bill is, as of March 2011, in the Senate. "Experts have questioned whether anyone has the ability to shut down the Internet in the U.S., but the bill makes it "crystal clear" that the president cannot take that action,"
