For Inorganic Chemistry: Read the first three chapters of the textbook and take notes. Most of this material will be familiar to you. Refer to your favorite general chemistry textbook/notes for help if needed. I will go over a few important concepts in class. Stay tuned for assignments!

For Quantum Mechanics: We will spend most of the fall quarter on Chapter 9. Please read for familiarity but do not worry if it is difficult to comprehend. Work on improving your calculus, which is the key to your success in quantum mechanics.
