Melissa was born in Brainerd, Minnesota. Melissa started taking courses at South Puget Sound Community College 2000. Melissa entered full time school in 2007 and in 2009 Melissa received an AAS in computer technology desktop support. Melissa transferred to Evergreen and has been attending since winter quarter 2009. Melissa plans on attending the MiT program at Evergreen with an emphasis on special education. Melissa's interest in the Book Torrent program is to explore how new technology is being incorporated into learning and how computer technology is affecting, limiting, or enhancing those who did not grow up in the computer age.
