Class Standing: Juniors or seniors; transfer students welcome.
Prerequisites: To be considered for this internship, students must have successfully completed a minimum of one year of study of computer science. Prior completion of programs or courses such as Computer Science Foundations, Data and Information, or their equivalents and one year of programming are required.
The Computer Science Intern develops skills in advanced topics of Computer Science through the coordination of the Operating Systems Lab (OSL). This intern develops advanced skills in operating systems, cluster computing, system administration and network topology design. The intern assists with lab coordination, hardware and software upgrades, creating instructional materials and lab documentation, and provides users with technical assistance.
Credits: 12 or 16 per quarter
