Week 4, 5, and 6:  (Check Web page frequently)

    1. Finish Week 2 and 3 assignments
    2. Prepare for reading and writing code evaluation
    3. Code the Craps program
    4. Code the Craps program using Methods
    5. Practice read code using Method calls. Email practice probs
    6. Practice writing methods with arrays
    7. Do Chapter Review Questions for Chapter 4, Read Ch. 6
    8. Make a self and course evaluation for your portfolio
    9. Organize your portfolio to turn in on Nov 7
    10.  Make extensive use of IM, email, phone, ezboard for Help

    Level 2:
    11.  Do Chapter Review for Chapter 6
    12.  Read Chapters 8 and 9
    13.  Try example programs on Disk and Web (GUI)
    14.  Rewrite Craps w/GUI and events. Try Graphics for Dice

    Level 3:
    15.  Try to make a GUI program for BlackJack, Fractions, etc..

Week 2 and 3:

    1. Do the Chapter Reveiw questions for Chapter 3
    2. Read Chapter 4.
    3. Form 3-4 Person study groups.  Email me
    4. Make the class email list. Send a group email
    5. Finish Lessons Calc, Applications, and If/While
    6. Email problems from these lessons
    7. Practice reading and writing code
    8. Finish programs for Calc and Applic. Lessons
    9. Write a program to play Craps
    10. Use Ezboard, IM, NetMeeting, Phone, Face to
           Face study groups, Email, etc.. to get Help, BUT
           Try to solve the problem first yourself and form
           a good question before seeking help from others

Week 1:

    1. Open Hotmail Account,  Email me by Sunday
    2. Review website.  Go through SetUp in Lessons
    3. Install software (JBuilder, Inst. Msg, NetMtg,..)
    4. Go to EZBoard (bevergreenjava) Enter
           Personal Information,  Reply to other P.I.
    5. Read Chapters 1 and 2. Do Review Questions
    6. Read Chapter 3
    7. Do Lessons: Running Java, AppletOut, AppletIn
    8. Do assigned programs at the end ApOut & ApIn
