Step Five: Assessing What I Know
At this point in my research, I will sit down and figure out what I know.
I will also go through all my notes and research and look for the format of my paper.
What I Know So Far:
1. Baptism is thought to be a holdover from Greek and Roman Religions
2. Initially, infants were not baptized
3. Water is a universal symbol of purification in most religions
4. The Medieval Church used baptism as a method of control
Usually, now you would ask yourself what you don't know. Because of the time constraint, just ask yourself if there are any glaring holes in your notes and logic.
