Atoms, Molecules & Reactions

Program Syllabus

This syllabus is a fluid document that will change to incorporate new opportunities or to enhance learning. Any changes will be announced in class and will be posted to this site. You should reexamine this site on a weekly basis. (Room locations can be found on the schedule page.)

In Inorganic Chemistry we will begin with chapters 5 & 4 together, followed by chapter 27 and finishing with chapter 3. (Chapter 1 should be all review and will not be covering it in class but will have homework associated with the chapter.)

In Principles of Physical Chemistry we will cover chapters 1, 2 & 4 in their entirety followed by portions of chapters 5, 6, 8 and 9. The order is sequential skipping over chapters 3 and 7. (Large portions of chapter 3 should be review and a good chunk of chapter 7 will be covered in the inorganic section.)
