Arts, Environment and the Child
Lunar New Year Celebration
I. Visual documentary of Friday and Saturday Lunar New Year events.
· Visual slide show presentation (if I can find the time to learn how to present via computer technology), otherwise the presentation will be displayed in another manner. I would like to coordinate with the LNY group for this presentation.
· No written words – I prefer that the viewer have their own internal experience. I would enjoy playing with music as a background component if I present slide show style.
Elementary School Project
I. Lesson plan in a nutshell – highlighting the WOW! moments.
· I did a planting/nurturing project with 3rd – 5th grade students from an emotional – behaviorally disordered classroom and would like to run quickly through the lesson plan and highlights of my adventure.
· I’d like to create a moment that reminds all of us of the child within, but unfortunately I don’t think that I can pull it off with the amount of homework I have to accomplish. My surprise presentation idea would be to do this presentation in a flower costumeJ
