[edit] Editing Wiki Pages

It's easy to edit a wiki page. Just click on the "edit" tab at the top of the page you want to edit.

For the most part, wikis are meant to display text, and if you enter plain text in the edit box it will end up on the page when you "save page." But there are several formatting tricks which you can use to make your text look better.

[edit] Paragraphs

  • To create paragraphs, you must leave a blank line between the paragraphs in your text.
  • In addition, you should remove any blank space at the beginning of a line. The wiki interprets blank space at the beginning of a line as a cue to put a box around that line and display it without wrapping the end of the line.

[edit] Section Headings

  • You can create automatic section headings and subheadings by placing double, triple, or quadruple equal signs around the text you want to use as a heading or subheading.
  • For example, this section was created with a heading that looks like this:
=== Section Headings ===
