Adam Prokosch: Down with America! Up with tribe rights!
We are all living on land that has been stolen from its native inhabitants. I thought that Harmon had brought up an interesting idea about the blurred lines between when a group (tribe) forms/ identifies with itself/ dissolves. Regardless, I have no idea who can justify Indian reservations where the outside world has made the tribes fit into a glove that has been designed by whites. This land was taken away from it inhabitants and then pissed on. From now on lets give this a try! Instead of governing tribes, the American government should step down and give all its wealth and privilege to the people especially those of native heritage. On that day the tribes will bask in all the power that was gained by the blood and sacrifice of their native ancestors.
