Content Area ELL Methods and Assessment 1

Description

Participants will be introduced to teaching and assessment strategies to assist ELLs in the development of academic language and content area knowledge relevant to the Washington endorsement and Teachers of English Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) standards.  Through curriculum design, teaching demonstrations, and the use of technology, participants will practice teaching strategies relevant to specific content areas across target grade levels.
