Description
This course explores the history, impacts and responses to environmental laws and initiatives to public and tribal lands. The roles of federal, state, local, tribal and international bodies will be covered in relation to current issues such as global warming and access to water. On the 40th anniversary of the National Environmental Policy Act, its influence on related environmental issues delineates a challenging area for student research.
