Description
This course is designed for students who have some background in Mandarin Chinese. The course will begin with a review and assessment from which the starting points for new learning will be determined. The overall goal is mastery of standard Chinese pronunciation and the building of useful vocabularies through vigorous interactive practice and small group activities. Learning activities may also include speaker presentations and field trips. The class is fast-paced with use of internet and computerized software to accelerate the learning. Chinese history and culture will be included as it relates to each language lesson.Maximum Enrollment: 24
