Today, college graduates should be knowledgeable about the history, science, and politics of the unprecedented environmental challenges we face, such as global climate change; record human population levels; pollutants in our air, freshwater, oceans, and soils; and the decline of species everywhere. This summer course surveys these environmental challenges, looks at how natural and social sciences help us understand and address them, and surveys how citizens can make significant contributions individually and through collective action.Maximum Enrollment: 25
