Prerequisites: One year of college photography and darkroom experience.
Description
This is an intermediate to advanced level photography class where students will be using many of the methods and techniques that have been left behind in the era of digital photography. We’ll be spending a significant part of this class learning and using 4x5 cameras. Additionally, we'll be working with liquid emulsion, lith films, and cyanotypes. There will be assignments based in these processes and each student will produce a final project. We’ll also look at the work of contemporary and historical artists using these methods.Maximum Enrollment: 16
