Description
This weekend-intensive course focuses on the fundamentals of public speaking. It is aimed at enhancing students' confidence and ability regardless of their current level of experience. Students will learn to control speech anxiety, compose persuasive and informative speeches, use visual aids appropriately, and develop performance skills for effective public presentations. All students will receive individualized feedback and coaching.
Students enrolling for 6 credits will do additional work to study speaking skills for recorded media.
