Description
This SOS is an opportunity for students to do intermediate to advanced work in psychology. Students will work independently on their own individual projects or areas of study. Areas of study may include prerequisites for graduate work. Empirical research projects are welcome. Students are encouraged to cluster together around projects that reflect their shared interests. The format also includes the option of a 4-credit biweekly seminar for discussion of assigned readings in cognitive neuroscience. All other contract obligations will be worked out individually with the faculty member. Priority will be given to students with well-developed plans for their studies; they should submit a draft contract to the faculty online for further refinement and signature. Those students with less-developed ideas for their studies must meet with the faculty for help in expanding their plan of study prior to submitting their draft contract.
