Description
The course explores the role that movement, visual art, music, writing, and media play in problem-solving and the resolution of internalized fear, conflicts, or blocks. Through hands-on activities, field trips, readings films/video, writing, and guest speakers, students discover sources of imagery as tools to awaken creative problem solving from two perspectives: creator and viewer. Students interested in human services, media, and education will find this course engaging. There are no prerequisite art classes or training required, and students can enroll in the course a second time. (Equivalencies and content will be enhanced for returning students.)
Students may attend either day or evening sessions.
