This algebra-based physics course introduces fundamental topics in physics including kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, and conservation laws. We will focus on conceptual understanding, problem solving, and lab work. The course will provide a solid foundation for those working toward careers in medicine, engineering, the life sciences, or the physical sciences. We will cover material traditionally associated with the first half of a year-long introductory physics course.
