Core Ballet and Contemporary Dance Immersion

Summer 2014 quarter

Taught by

This three-week, Monday through Friday class is for dancers of any experience level. The morning session consists of Core Ballet using the Beamish Bodymind Balancing Technique. This technique, therapeutic in its effect, strengthens the core body muscular system.  It is great for people who want more flexibility and strength.  The afternoon session is a contemporary dance class, which brings together techniques and styles from ballet and  modern dance.

Students may take both classes for a total of 4 credits or the morning session for 2 credits or afternoon session for 2 credits.  Ballet clothing is required. Please contact faculty for details.
